Erie County (PA) Department of Planning announced in late June 2016 it will fund a trail restoration proposal submitted by Dr. Randall Parkinson, Director of ER&R's Division of Coastal Zone and Watershed Management. The project will make improvements to the existing Erie Bluff State Park trail network that are designed to reduce soil erosion and improve hiker experience. ER&R will collaborate on the project with Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Penn Soil Resource Conservation Development Council and Redhorse Environmental. Work is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
